All SCA staff members are born-again, dedicated, carefully and prayerfully selected Christians who are spiritually and academically well qualified to serve and teach our students.
Abeka, Purposeful Designs, and Bob Jones materials are used for most core subjects to provide an academically challenging, well-balanced, Christ-centered program. Our curriculum is designed to impart knowledge and develop skills in English, Spelling, Reading, Bible, Math, Science, History, Physical Education, computer and media skills, penmanship, Spanish, and fine arts. Letterland, a phonics-based curriculum that teaches awareness and foundational literacy skills, is used in Preschool through 2nd grade. The Bible is taught every day and we have a weekly chapel service.
Students and teachers use a variety of technologies in the classroom to enhance the overall learning experience. Each student has a laptop to use while at school. Kindergarten through 2nd grade also have interactive panels. Students and teachers have access to a variety of online resources such as: IXL, Raz Kids, and Right Now Media.
Homeschool students must submit an application and pay the application fee.
